Rob oversees the day-to-day operations of Emerald Coast Constructors. Rob graduated with a degree in Building Construction from the University of West Florida and is a State of Florida Licensed General Contractor.

Our Story
Emerald Coast Constructors, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Robert Zimmerman, who is a hands-on, licensed, certified general contractor. Immediately upon incorporating, our prime focus was to develop client relationships based on honesty and integrity. Employing a skilled and technically qualified staff to serve client needs has earned Emerald Coast Constructors a reputation as a construction company with a dedication to quality work resulting in an excellent finished product. Our services and expertise speak for themselves, and our capabilities extend from the most complex projects to the simplest. As a design-build contractor we can help you develop the plans or work from the plans and specifications you provide us for your next construction project whether it be ground-up new construction, addition or remodeling; whether it be a residential, commercial, pre-engineered metal building, wood frame, masonry, steel frame or pile supported structure, Emerald Coast Constructors can build it.

With over 30 years of experience, Mark is the ECC management team expert in construction techniques, estimating, sales and project management. Mark received his Bachelor of Building Construction degree from the University of Florida and is a State of Florida Licensed General Contractor.
